Get Moving on the Willow Walking Trail
This is your path back into your body—gently, joyfully, and one step at a time.
The Willow Walking Trail invites you to move with ease and intention. Whether you’re outside under the trees or pacing your living room in socks, this space is here to help you reconnect with movement as something kind, energizing, and sacred.
Stroll beneath the virtual willows, breathe in rhythm, and let the trail guide you into motion. No competition. No pressure. Just breath, steps, sunshine, and that sparkle-in-your-lungs kind of feeling.
Here you’ll find reminders that movement doesn’t have to be a workout. Movement is not punishment. Movement is a celebration. A ritual. A rhythm that reminds you—you’re alive and blooming.
Take a stroll on the Willow Walking Trail where you will find affirmations to help you want to move, ideas that may help you get movement in smaller, yet joyful, doses, and a reminder to embrace and be grateful for the movement you achieve.

Little Movements with Big Magic
- Take ten slow steps while naming three things you’re grateful for.
- Roll your ankles while brushing your teeth. Thank them.
- Sway side to side like your spine just remembered music.
- Walk to the window and look at nothing. That counts.
- Let your arms float up with your inhale… and drop with the exhale.
- Set a timer for 3-5 minutes and step in place or wander around your house until the timer goes off
- Breathe, close your eyes and circle your hips 5 times each direction
- Go outside barefoot, stand and give a big stretch
- Turn on music and let your body just move. Don’t worry about how it looks.

Whispered Affirmations for Embodied Joy
–Movement is a gift, not a punishment.

–Each breath is a dance I don’t need to choreograph.
–Every movement, no matter how small, is a celebration of being here.

–Each step I take is proof—I can show up for myself, one moment at a time.
You don’t need the perfect path—just a willing step.
This isn’t about going far. It’s about coming back to yourself.

You’re not behind. You’re becoming.
