Welcome to the Wildflower Playground
This is where you rediscover the joy you knew before comparison started creeping in, before self-doubt spoke louder than curiosity, before you decided that happiness and delight needed permission. The Wildflower Playground invites you to get messy, laugh for no reason, and create without judgment—just like you did when you were just a little kid.
Here, you can let go as you hop on a swing and sour higher than your fears, not worry about getting messy as you create castles in the sand, and chase bubbles like magic sparkles in the breeze. This space is for your inner child—the one who still wants to draw outside the lines, wear glitter on a Tuesday, and say “I made this!” no matter how messy and without apology.
Hop on the swing. Chase the bubbles. Make the thing.
Play is not a distraction from growth. It is growth.
Let yourself bloom with joy.

Ways to Play
Let your wonder and curiousity lead the way. Choose a prompt to lead you to a burst of joy.
🖍️ Draw Outside the Lines – Grab a crayon, marker, eyeliner -or whatever you’ve got – and draw something without feeling the need to make it look good. Want to add some more silliness and laughter – Give it a try with your non-dominant hand and laugh when it gets weird…it will.
🎧 Dance Like You’re Alone in a Clearing – Pick a fun song. The more joyful memories or silly feelings it envokes, the better! Turn it up. Move. Wiggle. Shake. Spin. Skip. Shimmy. Let your body release what your brain has been holding and allow it to bring in the joy.
🧃 Snack Time – Think back. What snack did you love as a kid…ants on a log, mini pizzas, juice box with cheese and crackers? Make it, let memories rush back and eat it like it’s the best thing you’ve ever had (cause, it sort of is!)
🕰️ Time Travel – Go back to who you were when you were a kid. Pick an age filled with joy, fun, and love. Hand over the pen to that tiny human and have them write to “grown up me.” Write what you want the adult version to remember…be real, be silly, add color, add stickers, include a drawing, whatever your heart desires. Then put it away or hang it on your fridge for the days you need the reminder.
🫧 Let go and PLAY – Take your pick of activities – blow bubbles, jump rope, make a village with building blocks, kick a ball around, color a picture, finger paint, doodle with sidewalk chalk, run the bases of a baseball diamond without having to hit a ball, etc. Just pick one and let go of caring who’s watching. Because it’s not likely that anyone is and if they are, they are likely envious and getting ready to join!
🚓 Forget About the Fashion Police – Wear something that makes no sense, that doesn’t match, that you wouldn’t normally put on but that sparks joy. Let weird be wild, wonderful and freeing.
✨ Go on a Glitter Quest – Find something shiny (literal or emotional) today. It could be anything – a sparkling crystal, a sunbeam, a fun thought, a hidden rock, a penny….Hold it. Admire it. Take on it’s shiny attitude and let yourself sparkle alongside it.
